Marble Adopted!
Marble was initially captured as part of our trap-neuter-vaccinate-release program, in which we put dogs back on the street after we treat them. We only put dogs back if they are in relatively good health and have a clear food source. But Marble is such an old dog, that we just couldn’t put her back.
Senior dogs rarely get adopted, so we were prepared to let Marble live out her twilight years at the shelter. Until Olga came along!
Olga very generously welcomed Marble into her family, and she was immediately accepted by the other dogs. The adoption took place a few weeks ago, and Marble has settled in perfectly since then.
Thank you so much Olga for giving Marble a loving home in her final years.
We desperately need more people like Olga! We have plenty of other gentle senior dogs who would be so grateful to have a comfortable home, where they can rest and feel loved in their final years. For more information please message us.
