Lori
Lori was rescued by one of our volunteers, Richard, in June 2019. She was tied up, riddled with worms and full of mange. Richard convinced the owner to give her up.
Lori is quite shy, but very friendly and approachable. She would make a wonderful addition to a loving family.

Lori's Story
Lori was rescued by one of our volunteers Richard, in July 2019, who saw her on his daily walks. She had an owner, but she was so thin and riddled with mange and tied up day and night. Richard could not bear to leave her like that so he persuaded the owners to surrender her.

Her treatment for mange took several weeks in quarantine in a local vet clinic (we had yet to discover Nexgard which begins to deliver results in days). This is her when she arrived at the Sanctuary.
Lori is a really lovely dog – she is around 4 years old and spends her time in the caretakers garden behind the kitchen.
She is still a little shy of strangers, so she gets overlooked a lot when potential adopters come. She is good with other dogs but is one of the dogs at the shelter that gets bullied a lot so she keeps herself to herself much of the time.
