Natalie when rescued
One of four dogs rescued from the City Pound on Christmas Eve 2021, Natalie is full of energy and life. Once spayed, she will be ready for adoption by a family ready for an active and inquisitive girl.
Natalie's Story
Through the generosity of many donors, sponsors and adopters, and the support of Robinson's Mall Dumaguete, who hosted us for four weekends leading up to Christmas, we had the funds and space to empty the City Pound of unwanted dogs and captured strays.

Sadly, surrendered pets, or strays caught by the authorities in Dumaguete have little time at the Pound during which owners can claim them, or new homes found.
We decided to empty the Pound on Christmas Eve 2021, and Natalie was one of four dogs we found. She looks like a cross-bred Rottweiler, and it's possible the Pound kept her for longer than normal, expecting an owner to claim her.
Lottie, Eleanor and Natalie in particular were delighted to be taken away, although little Amelia was very quiet and subdued. They all soon adapted to their new surroundings. They were checked for Distemper, and were found to be clear, so they will all be spayed in preparation for their new forever homes.

Natalie when rescued
She's friendly but needs training and therefore needs adopting by someone experienced with high energy dogs. She will be spayed before adoption so if you are looking for a dog to breed, she's not for you.
