River
River was rescued in January 2021 after one of our regular foster carers Mike, came across him while out walking.
He was terribly thin, full of mange, and the apparent owners we just waiting for him to die.
He is now fully recovered and looking forward to finding a loving family to take care of him.

River's Story
River was apparently owned my some people who lived in a bamboo shack near the river and they were laughing at River and telling the rescuer they were going to eat him.
We gave him a really comfy bed, a bath and gave him NexGard Spectra to clear his mange and also get rid of any parasites.

River before rescue
After a couple of weeks, we put him into the puppy run with the other puppies until his vaccinations were complete.

River's neutering
He recovered extremely quickly, probably due to his youth - we think he was born around November 2020, as his testicles dropped recently.
This prompted us to neuter him.
He is such a friendly lively little boy – very playful! We really hope that he is going to find a home soon as he is so adoptable.
River's best friend in the shelter is Ace, who was rescued around the same time.
After quarantine, they were both put in the puppy run together they were still quite young.
