Andreas was bought in to the Sanctuary in December 2022. He was weak and unable to care for himself, and we took him in. Being an old dog, he is making slow progress but is responding to treatment. We hope he will get his health back soon.

Andreas's Story
On 1 December 2022, we took in an older dog who was reported collapsed on the sidewalk in the City, dehydrated, skinny and with a green discharge from his nose. We called him Andreas.
Closer inspection diagnosed nasal polyps, which through treatment have cleared up.
Andreas when rescued
Andreas was to be adopted by the reporter, but to date they have not come forward to offer him a permanent home. He is such a gentle old boy, we hope someone out there has space for him in their homes and their hearts.
