Rescued on 28 April 2022, Ashley had previously been treated and fed in the community, but some still-born puppies meant we had to take her in for treatment. She's now fit, healthy, full of affection and ready for her forever home.
Ashley's Story
Ashley was first reported by one of our DAS sponsors as a stray puppy with mange. We had a distemper outbreak at the time so couldn't take in any rescues, so the reporter offered to treat her mange and feed her on the street.

Later she got pregnant and gave birth to two puppies that died, and the third puppy was stuck inside and had already died. We brought her into the Sanctuary, got her back to health, gave her the usual vaccinations and spayed her.
Despite all she's been through, she's lively, very loving, super sweet and playful. She'll make a wonderful companion to anyone. If you'd like to make this friendly and loving dog part of your family please message our Inbox.
