Bindi
In March 2023 we rescued Bindi from Bindoy. This is too far from the Sanctuary for us to respond, but some overseas supporters with family in the area bought her to us. She has fractures and is very weak, and will need a lot of care to restore to full health, but she is in the best place with the best chance possible.
Bindi's Story
On 19 March 2023, when the team was at Robinsons Mall Dumaguete on one of our regular Adoption Drives, there were many reports of a dog in a canal with a broken leg in Bindoy, around 100km from the Sanctuary. One of our loyal overseas supporters Rosie has family in the area, and through their help Bindi was rescued.
We thought originally that her front leg was broken but Doc Pierre checked her on Tuesday and said that its not broken but there is a deep laceration.
However, xrays showed that her pelvis was damaged in the impact. This hopefully will heal with cage rest, and with plenty of food, love and veterinary care, she will return to good health. If you would like to help with Bindi's costs, please visit our Donate page, we would be so grateful.
