Rescued on 25 August 2021, Blake was rescued from Sibulan with a terrible wound due to TVT - Transmissable Venereal Tumours. Fund-raising for L-asparaginase chemotherapy drugs for Brown and Beth mean he can receive treatment with leftover serum.
Blake was a stray from Sibulan, with an awful case of TVT - Transmissable Venereal Tumours - on his penis. Most of it was eaten away, poor thing. This is quite common for stray dogs, both male and female.
We already had a dog with a bad case of multiple tumours, Brown. The best course of treatment is expensive - P3,200per vial and we needed four.
Due to the generosity of our donors responding to an online fund raiser, we managed to purchase enough L-asparaginase chemotherapy drug for Blake, Brown, and another dog rescued as a result, Beth. All three are now in remission, and Brown has returned to his rescuer - such an excellent way to end a story of abandonment and a welcome boost to us to know that there are people out there willing to support these seemingly impossible recoveries.
