Rescued on 6 April 2022, Clyde was poor boy with similar facial cancer issues to Rocky, a dog we sadly couldn't save a short while ago. It seems we got to Clyde in time, and he is a wonderful dog who clearly once had an owner, as he is very comfortable around hoomans. He deserves to go to a new home.
Rocky was a dog we picked up in January 2022 with tumors that had eaten away his nasal cavity, part of his jaw and part of his skull. We had no option but to put him to sleep.
When we got reports of this dog with similar issues, we didn't hesitate to get him. We hoped we were not too late this time.
His blood tests were generally ok - he had Ehrlichia and low platelets but his organs seemed in pretty good shape. His xrays showed that the tumors where not yet so advanced, and were TVT so were treatable.
After just three and a half weeks of chemo treatment, paid by some wonderful donors, his tumors were all but gone, and he seemed transformed! Clyde is super friendly and must have had an owner in the past as he is really comfortable with people and responsive to touch.
Can anyone give this boy the life he deserves?
