Indy's Story
Indy was an abandoned puppy found with her two siblings at the back of Robinson’s mall. They were playing nearby to a busy road and were in danger of being killed. She is super friendly and just wants to be cuddled but sometimes gets picked on by some of the other dogs.

She now stays in the enclosed area around the office with the other bullied dogs. We take her out for walks outside the shelter every day so that she gets enough exercise.
She actually follows Max on his walk as we don’t use a leash and the shelter is in a very rural area so no dangers of being run over.

She is an escape artist and can scale the fence and get out of the shelter – she never runs away but we have had to increase the height of the fence just to keep her in.
This is a short video about Indy and her sisters, Rubie and Sonia, when they were just rescued.

An Everyday Scene...
...from the life of the Sanctuary from a dog's eye-view. Sheila (white, left) has just been disturbed from her comfortable dirt-hole by Indy (black, right). Bystander Jenna (black with white chest) looks on worriedly, while Snoopy (scruffy, background) knows well enough to stay out of it when the ladies begin to argue.....Sheila eventually got her hole back.
