Krista's Story
On 20 June 2023, we rescued Krista from a canal where she had fallen in following a hit-and-run accident with a car. She was well-fed for a street dog, so perhaps she had some people caring for her.
With the Distemper outbreak ongoing at the Sanctuary, she was fostered temporarily with Gemma.
She went to see Doc Geoffrey at Petvet Animal Medical Center for check up and vaccinations.
Krista could not walk properly but didn't seem to have any broken bones. We would love to find her a home when she is fully recovered and spayed, which should be in about 2 weeks.
