maisy
Maisy was one of five puppies dumped in a garbage area, rescued in June 2020 by some of our foster carers.
Despite losing two of her siblings, Maisy is a bright, energetic dog, but is also very good with other dogs, being one of the very few Archie tolerates in his kennel!
She would make a wonderful adoptee.

maisy'S STORY
Maisy was rescued in June 2020 by one of our foster carers Mike. They had been dumped in a garbage area and would not likely have survived.
There were originally five which we named Maisy, Mica, Mitch, Maddie and Miley. Sadly, 3 of the puppies caught Parvo, a common virus which is very difficult to eradicate. Mitch and Mica died, and Maddie barely survived.
Maisy and Miley were more fortunate. Our new puppy run is playing its part in keeping potentially vulnerable puppies in an area we can easily disinfect and keep the incidence of Parvo down.

Miasy
Like her brothers and sisters, Maisy was very small and malnourished when she was rescued.
It took some time for her to begin to gain weight.
Maisy gets on well with her other siblings and loves to cuddle up with them from time to time.
This is the three of them when they were younger cuddled up together.

Maisy, Maddie and Miley
Maisy is a really healthy dog - nothing to report since she was rescued. She's really friendly and lively and also gets on well with other dogs.
She loves fat old Archie and she and Jenna – another shy rescue – are the only ones he lets sleep in "his" kennel.

Maisy has had a good month healthwise - no illnesses or skin problems at all.
However, she seems to have broken up with Archie as she doesn't spend as much time with him anymore and they don't sleep in the kennel together.
She plays a lot with Indy and her two sisters again. She loves playing! We will start leash training her this month. We'd like all dogs to go on a walk outside at least once a week to get them used to walking on the leash.
Here's a short clip of her relaxing in the sunshine this month.
