Patty
Patty was the victim of a hit and run outside Paddy’s store in Bacong in June 2020.
She was initially paralyzed, but has managed to make a complete recovery.
She seems to have had an owner, as she is quite comfortable inside.
She would make a lovely, gently companion.

Patty's Story
It seems Patty was hit by a car and then dragged herself under a bush. She was lying injured for 3 days before we picked her up – people were feeding her and there was a dog keeping her company.

Patty before rescue
She didn’t have any fractures but she couldn’t walk so we were worried that she had nerve damage. After one week we started doing therapy with her and she began to walk on her own after two weeks.
We really think she had an owner as she was very comfortable staying indoors. As soon as we let her out of quarantine, she made her way into the caretakers room and took up residence there. She never really got on with the other dogs and would frequently get into fights. We ended up keeping her in the office with Max, as they get on very well. He even lets her share his bed from time to time – but sometimes he banishes her to the small bed.

Patty
She is really good with people and some of the other dogs but she can be a bit of a bully with other dogs - she rules the office, chasing out any dog she doesn’t want in there. She is very adoptable and would love nothing more to sleep under your next or on the floor next to the sofa – she just loves being around people
