Rosco
Rosco was rescued after being run over in March 2021. He was unable to walk, but has made a full recovery, and is now one of the most lively "in-mates" at the Sanctuary.
He was about 4 months old when he arrived, and so is a perfect age to find a new home with a family that loves to play just as much as he does!

Rosco's Story
Rosco was rescued after a hit and run on 31 January 2021. The caretakers were driving back to the shelter one evening in the pouring rain and they saw Rosco lying on the side of the road unable to walk.

Roscoe when rescued
They put him straight in the back of the van and brought him to the shelter. He was in shock for a while but after the shock wore off he didn’t have any serious injuries. Though he was very thin and had mange and wounds all over his body.

Roscoe
He was really shy at first and though he was around 4 months at the time of rescue we put him in the puppy run, along with River and Ace who were rescued around the same time.

Roscoe
As his confidence grew he became VERY lively and plays non stop. He now is one of the more sociable dogs at the shelter but can also be a bit of a bully to the other smaller dogs!
He is now ready for his own family and would make a great family dog as he is active and loves to play and go on walks.
