Sansa
WARNING - SANSA'S TUMOR IS SEVERE, SO PLEASE BE PREPARED FOR SOME DISTURBING IMAGES IF YOU SCROLL FURTHER.
Sansa's Story
We rescued Sansa on 11 November 2022, along with two other old dogs we were able to raise funds to help - Frankie and Bilbo.
Sansa had a large tumor which must be extremely painful, and would ultimately kill her if left untreated. TVT is treatable with appropriate chemotherapy, but is not cheap.
She will need a minimum of 8 sessions at 2500 per session plus we need to do regular blood chem tests to monitor her organs, so around
30,000php / $600 USD for her cancer treatment.
Within a couple of days of asking for financial help, funds amounting to at least a quarter of her costs had already been collected, and we are hopeful of starting her treatment as soon as possible. She is a very sweet girl, but was understandably very mistrustful of humans.
However, after some weeks of treatment, the tumors have reduced significantly, and she is playful and welcoming of strangers - a very good sign that things are improving for her. Let's she continues on her road to recovery, and maybe a new home.
