Pamela Adopted!

We have some wonderful news to share! Our little disabled dog Pamela was adopted by our shelter manager Rina and her partner Dex. They have already adopted 3 dogs from DAS, Mimi, Mina and Chloe.
Pamela was rescued in June 2020 after she was reported dragging herself around the streets. She had apparently been run over a couple of months prior and her broken legs had already fused again in positions that made it difficult to walk. There was nothing that could be done for her.
She was fostered by Doc Riv Aballe along with Poppy. Poppy and Pamela became inseparable and when Poppy was adopted in November last year, Pamela lost her best friend. Dex couldn't bear to see her lonely so on New Year's Day, they took her home.
Despite Pamela's disability she has a good quality of life and can get herself around easily And plays with other dogs. She settled into her new home immediately, happy to sleep on a bed for the first time probably in her life. Thank you Cherrie for sponsoring Pamela while she was at the Sanctuary. We will miss you Pamela but so happy you now have your own family! Pamela is the white dog on the right
