Tinkerbelle Adopted!
Our third adoption today was Tinkerbelle!!!
As many of you know, Tinkerbelle had a spine injury so we wanted an adopter with no other dogs and who could also afford surgery if needed in the future.
We had no luck finding an adopter and Tinkerbelle has been in a cage for 6 months. There are too many dogs at the shelter to let her out safely.
Henrik and his son Dong, long term volunteers and supporters of DAS wanted to adopt Tink from when we first rescued her. They came up regularly to take her for walks and Dong took Tink for all her laser therapy appointments.
She adores them both and gets so excited when she sees them.
Here she is today when they came to visit her. A few weeks ago we had long talks with the team and Henrik and decided that the best place for her is with Henrik, Dong and Henrik's wife Elvie.
Although they have other dogs we prefer that Tink has a good life and no longer has to stay in a cage. They have a big place and there is always someone at home so she will always be supervised.
So Tinkerbelle left the Sanctuary today and has found her home - read all about her long road to recovery on her profile page here.
